Marnie Stern – This Is It and I Am It and You Are It and So Is That and He Is It and She Is It and It Is It and That Is That
Marnie Stern is a girl unafraid to rock, and rock she does, utilizing a type of finger-picking guitar playing that makes tracks like “Transformer” sound like absolutely ripping two minute guitar solos with pop songs built on top of them, her guitar craft is complimented by her uniquely structured melodies and shouting, punk vocals. (All this, despite having the most unfortunately named album of the year.)
